The G-Class on the current Mercedes-Benz Pakistan price list is the G 580 with EQ Technology, the first fully electric G-Class. Instead of an engine, it uses four permanently excited electric motors, one at each wheel, with intelligent torque vectoring. The official website lists a combined rated output of 432 kW (587 hp), 1,164 Nm of torque, an automatic transmission, 0 to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds and a top speed of 180 km/h. Battery capacity, range and charging times are not published on the official page, and international sources disagree on the battery figure, so confirm it with the dealer.
The official page says the G 580 keeps a ladder-type steel frame up to 3.4 mm thick, an EQ-specific rigid rear axle with steel suspension, and a 3 cm thick underguard made from a carbon-fibre-reinforced material to protect the high-voltage battery. Adaptive adjustable damping is standard, and Mercedes quotes a water-wading depth of up to 850 mm. Exact dimensions, ground clearance, seating and boot space are not given on the Pakistani site.
A LOW RANGE mode adjusts the damping, accelerator response and steering feel, and unlocks three special functions described on the official page: G-TURN, which can rotate the vehicle on its own axis up to two full turns on loose surfaces; G-STEERING, which tightens the turning circle off-road by varying torque at individual wheels; and Off-Road Crawling, which holds a steady low speed in up to three creep levels. The page does not list cabin, infotainment or safety equipment, so ask the dealer for the Pakistani specification sheet.
No warranty terms for the vehicle or its battery are published on the official Pakistani website.
Only the G 580 is on the July 2026 price list, at Rs 122,000,000 ex-factory, making it the most expensive car in the current official line-up. The petrol G-Class also has a page on the website but no current published price. Our view: the G 580 is ideal for buyers who want the iconic G-Class shape with silent electric power and unique tricks like G-TURN, and who mainly drive in and around the city. If you regularly travel long distances to areas without fast charging, wait for confirmed range figures or ask the dealer about the petrol G-Class.
