Electric motor and performance

The Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupé sold in Pakistan is fully electric. The official Mercedes-Benz Pakistan website lists the AMG GT 55 4-Door Coupé with 600 kW (816 hp) and 1,800 Nm of torque from its electric drive, an automatic transmission, a top speed of 260 km/h and a 0 to 100 km/h time of 2.8 seconds. That makes it by far the quickest car on the current Mercedes-Benz Pakistan price list. Battery size, range and charging figures are not published on the official page. Local media reports of the launch mention up to 860 kW and 300 km/h, which do not match the GT 55 figures on the official page.

Design, size and practicality

Despite the coupé name, it has four doors. The official page highlights the AEROKINETICS AIRPANEL at the front, a concave radiator shell, a striking front diffuser, short overhangs and standard flush-fitting door handles. Mercedes describes the look as AMG in its purest form, with a low silhouette and muscular rear. Mercedes says the cabin offers a generous sense of space, but no dimensions, boot space or seating capacity are listed. Our opinion: a low, wide performance car like this needs care over Pakistani speed breakers, so check ground clearance before buying.

Equipment

The official page describes sports seats, a high-grip AMG Performance steering wheel with AMG steering-wheel buttons and a digital driver display, in an interior Mercedes calls performance-oriented and designed around intuitive control. It also mentions a wide choice of paint finishes and design and equipment packages, but does not list what is standard on Pakistani cars. Ask the dealer for the exact specification sheet before booking.

Warranty

The official Pakistani website does not publish warranty terms for the car or its high-voltage battery.

Which variant to buy

One version is listed, at Rs 108,540,000 ex-factory, so the decision is about options and colour. Our view: this is a car for enthusiasts who want supercar acceleration with four doors and zero tailpipe emissions. Buyers who mainly want luxury and rear-seat comfort will get more for less with the E-Class, while those who want a status SUV may prefer the electric G-Class, which costs Rs 13.46 million more. Because public fast charging in Pakistan is still limited in many areas, plan home and destination charging carefully.
