The Kaiyi X3 Pro EV is a compact electric crossover sold in Pakistan in one fully loaded Flagship version for Rs 7,490,000. Kaiyi Pakistan lists a 53.6 kWh battery, a 120 kW (about 161 hp) front motor and a claimed range of up to 401 km on one charge. PakWheels reports peak torque of 280 Nm. There are two drive modes, Eco and Sport, and power goes through a single-speed gearbox. DC fast charging takes the battery to 80 percent in about 30 minutes, according to the official site. Home charging time is not published, and neither is the charging port type, so check that the car works with the public chargers you plan to use on longer trips.
At 4,443 mm long and 1,831 mm wide, with a 2,632 mm wheelbase, the X3 Pro EV is much bigger than Kaiyi’s hatchbacks and is aimed at families. The official height is 1,646 mm, although Kaiyi also lists 1,667 mm and 1,688 mm, probably depending on roof fittings. Ground clearance is up to 182.7 mm, which helps over speed breakers and broken roads. Kaiyi Pakistan does not publish seating capacity or boot space; PakWheels lists five seats.
Because Pakistan only gets the Flagship trim, the equipment list is long. The official site confirms a panoramic sunroof, keyless entry and push-button start, a 360-degree camera, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a wireless phone charging pad, a premium 8-speaker sound system and a 6-way electric driver’s seat. PakWheels adds LED headlights, 18-inch alloy wheels, power-folding mirrors, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, cruise control, rear AC vents, an electric parking brake with auto hold, brake assist, hill start assist and hill descent control. On safety, PakWheels reported three airbags (driver, passenger and side) in its launch coverage, but its model page lists four, so confirm the number with the dealer.
Kaiyi Pakistan has not published warranty terms on its website. Ask Q-Autos for the vehicle and battery warranty in writing before booking.
There is only one version, so the choice is simple. In our opinion the X3 Pro EV makes most sense for families who want an electric crossover with a long feature list and around 400 km of claimed range at a price close to many petrol crossovers. Buyers should weigh the young dealer network, currently showrooms in Lahore and Karachi, against the much lower running costs of an electric car.
