The HR-V brings Honda’s crossover formula to Pakistan: a raised driving position, a practical cabin and tall ground clearance in a compact footprint. Since the 2025 launch of the hybrid, Honda Atlas sells two versions: the HR-V VTi-S at Rs 7,299,000 and the HR-V e:HEV at Rs 9,299,000, both ex-factory. The earlier VTi has been dropped from the price list.
The VTi-S uses a 1.5-litre DOHC i-VTEC petrol engine producing 119 hp at 6,600 rpm and 145 Nm at 4,300 rpm, driving the front wheels through a CVT. It is smooth and easy in town, though it has to work harder with a full load or on long climbs.
The e:HEV pairs a 1.5-litre Atkinson-cycle i-VTEC engine with two electric motors and a lithium-ion battery. In the same HR-V e:HEV sold in other markets, the engine makes 78 kW and 127 Nm, and the traction motor 96 kW and 253 Nm. Honda says the motor drives the car across most of the speed range, with three modes: EV drive, hybrid drive and engine drive (where the engine connects directly to the wheels at cruising speed), plus regenerative braking. It is self-charging, so it never needs to be plugged in.
The e:HEV is the better-equipped car, with six airbags, Honda Sensing driver assistance, front and rear cameras, a wireless phone charger, navigation, hill start assist, hill descent control and vehicle stability assist. The VTi-S is reported to have four airbags. Both ride on a tall 196 mm ground clearance.
If you drive a lot in the city, the e:HEV’s economy and extra safety equipment make it the HR-V to get, despite the Rs 20 lakh premium. The VTi-S suits buyers who want a crossover’s height and space at a lower price.
The Honda HR-V costs Rs 7,299,000 to Rs 9,299,000 ex-factory (HR-V VTi-S: Rs 7,299,000, HR-V e:HEV: Rs 9,299,000), according to Honda Atlas Cars’ official price list updated on 30 September 2026. The ex-factory price is the same in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and every other city; registration, token tax and freight to your city are added on top, and differ by province. Honda’s own price calculator on its website shows the full on-the-road amount for your city.
