The Dongfeng 007 is a large electric sedan, launched in Pakistan by Chawla Green Motors at the Pakistan Auto Show in November 2025. There are three versions. The Essence uses one 160 kW motor with 310 Nm and a 58.4 kWh battery, for a claimed range of 550 km. The Prestige has a 200 kW, 320 Nm motor and a larger 73.5 kWh battery, giving the longest claimed range of 650 km. The Excellence adds a second motor for all-wheel drive, with 200 kW and 320 Nm on each axle, the 73.5 kWh battery, 565 km of claimed range and a 0–100 km/h time of under 3.5 seconds. Range figures are on the Chinese CLTC cycle, so real-world range will be lower.
Both AC and DC charging are supported. Launch material for the all-wheel-drive car quoted a 20 to 80 percent DC fast charge in about 18 minutes on a suitable charger. Selected versions also offer vehicle-to-load (V2L), which lets the car power 220 V appliances.
At 4,880 mm long, 1,895 mm wide and 1,460 mm tall, with a 2,915 mm wheelbase, the 007 is a full-size sedan with plenty of cabin space. It seats five and has an electric tailgate and split-folding rear seats. Ground clearance is listed at 163 mm, so take care over large speed breakers. A boot space figure has not been published for Pakistan.
Every version is listed with six airbags, climate control, forward collision warning, driver attention warning and traffic sign recognition. The wider equipment list includes autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, blind spot detection, rear cross traffic alert, door opening warning and a 360-degree camera with a transparent chassis view. Inside there is a 15.6-inch central touchscreen, an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster, a 19-speaker sound system, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, wireless charging, dual-zone climate control, rear air vents, ambient lighting, leatherette seats and a ventilated driver’s seat. Outside are LED lights, frameless windows, hidden door handles, an active rear spoiler and 18- or 19-inch wheels depending on version. A clear split of equipment by variant has not been published, so check the exact car you are buying.
Warranty terms for the 007 were not published in the sources we found, so ask the dealer before booking.
Our opinion: the Prestige is the sweet spot. It costs Rs. 1,090,000 more than the Essence but brings the bigger battery and the longest claimed range, which matters more than outright speed in a country with limited fast chargers. The Excellence, another Rs. 910,000, is for buyers who want very rapid acceleration and all-wheel drive. The Essence makes sense if you mostly drive in the city and want the lowest price.
