United’s official specification sheet lists a 97cc four-stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled OHC engine with an 8.1:1 compression ratio for the US 100 Standard. It drives through a 4-speed gearbox and is started with a kick lever. The engine holds 0.8 litres of oil. United does not publish power, torque, top speed or fuel economy figures, so we have left those fields out instead of copying unconfirmed numbers from other websites.
The US 100 rides on slightly larger 18-inch wheels than the US 70, with a 2.50-18 front tyre and a heavier-duty 2.75-18 6-ply rear tyre, which should suit riders who often carry a passenger or goods. Brakes are mechanical drums at both ends. The fuel tank holds 8.5 litres and the bike uses a 12-volt battery. United does not list dimensions, weight, seat height or ground clearance, so check the riding position in person at a dealer.
The official website shows two versions: the Standard with spoked wheels and the Alloy Rim with alloy wheels. Both are kick-start bikes with drum brakes, and United does not describe any other equipment differences. Note that the official Alloy Rim page currently repeats the 70cc specification table, which appears to be a website error, so the specifications here are taken from the Standard page. United’s July 2025 circular also lists Special and Plus versions of the US 100, but these do not appear on the official website.
United’s website does not show prices. Under United’s circular effective 1 July 2025, the US 100 Standard costs Rs 108,500 and the Standard Alloy Rim costs Rs 113,500, including sales tax and the NEV levy. That makes the Standard slightly cheaper than the US 70 Standard on the same list. News reports say 100cc prices rose by a further Rs 3,000 from 11 April 2026, so confirm the current figure with your dealer. Warranty terms are not published on the website, so ask the dealer for them in writing.
Our view: the Standard is the better buy for most people. On United’s own price list it costs less than the smaller US 70 Standard while offering a bigger engine, 18-inch wheels and a sturdier rear tyre. The Alloy Rim costs Rs 5,000 more for alloy wheels and adds nothing else that United documents, so pick it only if you prefer the look or want to avoid spoke maintenance. Riders who want an electric starter will need to look at United’s US 70 Self Start or a rival 100cc bike.
