The Horwin QBB5 is the fastest model on Horwin Pakistan’s website, which lists a 4,500 W motor, a 90 km/h top speed and a claimed 90 km range. PakWheels and dealer Auto Power both give the battery as a 2.6 kWh lithium unit. PakWheels describes it as portable, so it can be taken out for charging indoors. Charging time is quoted at 4.5 hours, in line with Horwin’s general guidance of 4 to 6 hours on a home charger. As with any electric bike, real-world range will fall if you ride at top speed for long stretches.
The QBB5 is a full motorcycle-style electric bike rather than a scooter. PakWheels lists a 1,365 mm wheelbase, 150 mm ground clearance, 97 kg dry weight and 16-inch wheels with 4.00-16 front and 4.30-16 rear tyres. Suspension is telescopic at the front and hydraulic at the rear, and load capacity is quoted at 250 kg. The tall wheels and motorcycle seating make it better suited than a scooter to longer commutes and rougher roads. Overall dimensions were not reliably published.
One version is sold. It comes with disc brakes at both ends, an LED headlight with daytime running lights, a digital meter and push-button start. Colours are Blue and Black on both the official site and dealer listings.
Horwin Pakistan does not publish prices. Auto Power lists the QBB5 at Rs 499,000; other sites quote between Rs 492,000 and Rs 525,000. PakWheels’ figure of Rs 560,000 to Rs 570,000 is an average of used listings, not a new price. Confirm the current price with an authorised dealer. PakWheels lists a battery warranty of 22 months or 25,000 km, which the official site does not confirm.
Our view: the QBB5 suits riders who regularly need to keep pace with traffic on main roads, where its 90 km/h top speed and twin disc brakes count. However, dealers list the CR1 Pro for less with a similar top speed, disc brakes at both ends and a longer quoted range. On paper, that makes the QBB5 harder to justify. Test-ride both, as seating, build and ride comfort may decide it for you.
