The Leopard Pro is one of eveon’s most powerful scooters. It uses a 2,000-watt BLDC motor, and eveon quotes a top speed of 70 km/h, faster than most of the brand’s commuter models. Power comes from a 72V 38Ah Gold Graphene battery, with a claimed range of 90–100 km in Eco mode. eveon says a full charge uses about 2.7 units of electricity. The scooter also has a battery management system (BMS) and what eveon calls an EBS regeneration system, which recovers some energy when you slow down. eveon does not publish a charging time for this model.
eveon has not released dimensions, weight, seat height or ground clearance for the Leopard Pro, so we cannot compare its size with rivals. It rides on 12-inch tyres, larger than the 10-inch wheels on eveon’s entry models. eveon says the motor, reverse gear and wheels let it handle inclines and rougher roads. Reverse gear is also handy for tight parking. A side stand sensor adds safety by preventing the scooter from moving off with the stand down. eveon’s page does not say whether the tyres are tubeless or whether the battery can be removed.
The Leopard Pro is sold in a single version. Standard equipment includes:
Front and rear disc brakes, a colourful digital meter that shows speed, battery percentage and ride-behaviour information, cruise control, reverse gear, the side stand sensor and an anti-theft system.
eveon does not list regenerative braking on most of its cheaper scooters.
eveon gives a 24-month warranty on the motor and 18 months on the controller and battery. That battery cover is shorter than the 36 months eveon offers on its LFP-battery models, such as the Titan, N7 Max and N8.
In our view, the Leopard Pro suits riders who want stronger acceleration and a higher top speed than eveon’s 1,000–1,200-watt scooters. It also suits riders who do a lot of stop-start city riding, where regenerative braking helps. The main alternative is the AE4PRO. It costs the same Rs 280,000 and uses the same 2,000-watt motor and 72V 38Ah battery. It claims a slightly higher 70–75 km/h top speed and lists tubeless tyres and keyless start. If you value the richer digital meter and regeneration, choose the Leopard Pro; otherwise, test both before deciding. If you want a longer battery warranty, also look at the Titan.
